Before The Hype Train Leaves The Station…
Now I just want to make a few things clear before going over these products
The sales per month are ESTIMATES pulled directly from Jungle Scout :
- Are they 100% accurate?
- Unfortunately not, but pretty close
- Are they a good indication that the product is selling well and you should further research?
- Definitely!
- Should you copy and sell the same exact products?
- Absolutely not… That is the quickest way to fail on Amazon, always improve an already successful product
- I did not include the cost of goods, shipping, and PCC expenses etc… as those all vary greatly
- I will go into great detail of those costs in other posts
These are great examples of private label products and should be used to see just how crazy Amazon can get with one single listing
With that out of the way, all aboard the HYPE train! Let’s gooooo…

Congratulations! Great tips! But do you know how can I buy these kind of product to sell? I really have no idea.
Hey Cíntia,
You can source products by using sites like Alibaba or Thomasnet. Both of these sites will put you in contact with manufacturers that will produce the products on your behalf.
But, before you start looking for suppliers, make sure you have properly researched the product you are going to sell. It’s all about having the right product.
Hope this helps!
Mitch
how do you “properly research the product you’re going to sell”?
Hey Bernie,

Which shipping you are using Amazon FBA or Self Ship?
Did you count shipping charges in this?
Hey Ravi,
I use the FBA program to fulfill all the orders. I didn’t account for inbound shipping to Amazon from the manufacturer since it varies so much.

Good & Fruitful information !
Thanks
Thanks for the feedback!
Hey Mitch, how do you register as an Amazon Seller and get your goods into their supply chain?
Hey Ekong,
You would sign up for a seller account. Its located at the bottom of the Amazon home page. ( Make Money With Us then Sell on Amazon )
Once you have an account, you would then create a shipping plan and ship your products directly to the Amazon warehouses.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Kindly walk me through.

Hope this helps
Hey Mitch ,please send me the email as well .noticed I can do this from Kenya .very curious about it especially the FBA bit
Hey Velisa,
I was just replying to an email that someone else sent me. But this link will help you figure out how to get paid when trying to sell from Kenya: https://amzn.to/2B5ovrx
I would also suggest setting up your Amazon account and getting verified before ordering inventory.
Hope this helps
Hi Mitch,
How can i find top selling products manufactured in specific country like India, China etc..
Hey Lenny,
I’m not exactly sure how to do that BUT… I think it’s more about finding the right product opportunity and it really doesn’t matter where the product is manufactured. For example, you might be able to find iPhone cases made in China that sell very well but are you able to compete with the other products on Amazon? Just because you can source the product for “cheap” doesn’t mean you’ll have a successful product.
Here’s a Quora answer of mine that shows a way to source products other than Alibaba: http://qr.ae/TUpR3W
Hope this helps!

Am a complete novice in this business. Is it as easy as explained to start?
Hey Stella,
I would consider selling on Amazon simple but not easy. It takes time, hard work and capital to get going but I think its very “simple” to do all your research and pick the right products.
Here’s an answer of mine on Quora that breaks down the product research process: https://qr.ae/TUpR3l
If you’re looking to resell other peoples products for a profit, check out this answer: https://qr.ae/TUGIk1

Can I sell here in the Philippines using Amazon? Thanks
Hey Antonio,
Yes, you can sell on Amazon if you aren’t located in the US.
Shoot me an email [email protected] if you have questions!
Thanks
Mitch
Hi Mitch. Thank you for the detailed answers above. A few more questions. Thank you in advance. Please see below:
1) After you identify a product through analysis and tools, how do you find a supplier?
2) After you found a supplier and communicated the product specification, do you receive a sample product for testing to evaluation?
3) Do you request a product sample before ordering a batch for sale?
4) Do you order the product in bulk and the Chinese manufacturer ships it to the Amazon warehouse in the US, or does the manufacturer dropship to the US from China?
Hey Alex,
1) I first try to source the product in the US and I use a site called Thomasnet which is a directory of suppliers based in the US.
2) 95% of the time yes. The only time I don’t is if the product is SUPER simple and my first order is for only a few hundred units.
3) It depends how much I changed the product and how much one sample unit is going to cost me… but if its cost effective and won’t take too long, then yes.
4) I have the suppliers ship directly into the Amazon warehouses. I don’t suggest drop shipping via Amazon.
Hope this helps!
